The JES Parent Teacher Association (PTA)’s mission is to support the school’s goals. We raise funds throughout the year so that we may help enhance the school’s curriculum and contribute to critical purchases not covered under the county budget. Without PTA support, many of the “extras” in our children’s education would not be provided.
PTA pays for:
Cultural learning assemblies, field trips, music and art supplies, hospitality, teacher appreciation events, community blood drives and outreach activities, 5th grade farewell, International Night, Spring Carnival and other events.
In addition to grad-specific and school-wide items provided, every teacher is given a PTA budget to utilize for classroom extras. Aside from monetary support, the PTA provides volunteer support in the cafeteria and in classrooms. The list of items covered is long and comprehensive. We have an amazing network of helpful and generous families!
